Gandhi Jayanthi celebrated

Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on October 2nd, 2016 to commemorate the Fatherof the Nation. In her keynote address Smt. Ashalatha P., said: “If studentsinculcate Mahatma Gandhi’s principles like Ahimsa, Truth and Tolerance, intheir daily lives, it is possible to become good citizens.” Akshaya J. Kotian,President of the Student’s Council, garlanded the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi.Student Muthulakshmi made an inspiring speech on Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhiji’sfavourite songs ‘Vaishnava Janatho’ and ‘Ramadhun’ were recited. An allreligion prayer was held with the reading of passages from Bhagavad Geetha,Holy Bible and Quran by students C. Mohan Aigal, Benjamin Michael Walace andTathrif respectively. Akshaya J. Kotian, President of the Student’s Councilthanked the gathering. Sanjay Bandhodkar compered the programme.
